Health and Safety Procedures

The Studio is committed to preserving the health and safety of our students and faculty in efforts to keep our students engaged with their teachers in the studio. We ask that our parents & familes act as the last line of defense in determining whether or not your dancer should come to class in the event illness arrives.

NEW General Procedures - 

  • Limited class sizes

  • Lobby & common areas will remain closed

  • Sanitizing stations are located outside each classroom and throughout the building

  • Floor markers /“Dancing Dots”  have been placed in each studio to guide students on how to take class while social distancing 

  • Water Fountains will remain closed

  • Supplies such as hand sanitizer, paper towels, and spray disinfectant will be ready available to all faculty and students when needed

  • Our facility is cleaned and sanitized everyday before and after classes.


Faculty Procedures -​

  • Faculty will be health screened prior to the start of classes

  • Faculty will immediately wash hands with soap and water upon arrival and then use hand sanitizer/ wash hands throughout their shift


Drop Off Procedures - 

  • Dancers should arrive 5-10 minutes early and remain in their cars OR line up outside until their teacher opens the studio door to welcome students in. 

  • Parents should not leave until their dancer has been cleared to enter the building.

  • Dancers will need to do the following upon entry:​​

    • Immediatly remove outdoor shoes upon entry. Please wear shoes that are easy to slip on and off

    • Sanitize hands 

    • Dancers may use a mask during class if desired but it is not required

  • Dancers should have with them the following: 

    • Small dance bag packed with only the items they need

    • Personal water bottle since our water fountains will be closed

    • Mask


Dancer Pick Up Procedures - 

  • Dancers will gather belongs and use hand sanitizer before collecting their shoes and leaving the building 

  • Dancers will exit one at a time through the same door they entered

  • Please be on time to pick your dancer up as our faculty will need time to clean and sanitize after class


Cleaning between classes -

All surfaces, door handles, floors, and any equipment will be disinfected.


Bathrooms - We encourage dancers to use the restroom at home prior to coming to class. Dancers who are taking multiple classes or in a case of an emergancy, may access the bathrooms. Disinfectant and sanitizing stations will be available in the restroom. We ask that all dancers disinfect the area used before leaving the restroom. A faculty member will be nearby to help younger dancers who are not able to do this on their own. 

  • Bathrooms are reguarly checked and disinfected periodically throughout the day
